'Learning through Play is the brain's favourite way!'
Early Childhood Development Sessions

Join us for 30 minute developmentally appropriate pre-recorded virtual sessions filled with stories, songs, music, dance, and learning to help children to further understand the world around them.

These sessions will engage your child and further develop the five developmental domains:


SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL SKILLS:

- Pincer grip (important school readiness skills)

- Crawling (fundamental skill for crossing the body line that further develops brain wiring)

WEEK 1
Healthy Food - We discuss the healthy food pyramid and nutritious foods that are good for our bodies to help them grow big and strong. 

At the Zoo - We discuss different animals that live at the Zoo.

Konnichiwa Japan - we discuss Japan, talk about Mt Fuji, Japan the country, learn how to count to ten in Japanese, and learn Japanese words, and discuss Japanese cuisine. 

Hello Holidays - We took about travelling, as well as visiting some of the most popular places in the world.

Camping - We talk about things we take camping, food we eat, discuss camping outside under the stars, and discuss safety around fires.


WEEK 2 

 Sports and Games - We discuss different games and sports the children can participate in. We discuss and act out, running, jumping, basketball, cricket, soccer, hopping on one leg. 

 Ciao Italia - We discuss Italy, talk about Rome and the Colosseum, Italy the country, learn how to count to ten in Italian, and learn Italian words, and discuss Italian cuisine. 

 Sustainability - We discuss different forms of sustainability and how to ensure that we are minimising our carbon footprint. 

Exploring the Great Outdoors
We discuss the 7 Natural Wonders of the World and the different countries that they are found. 


 Multicultural - We discuss our differences, and different multicultural people.

WEEK 3 

People who help - we discuss the importance of fire people, ambulance drivers, police, doctors, and nurses. We also discuss who to call in an emergency. 

Seasons - We discuss the differences in the 4 seasons as well as different clothing that we need to wear. 

G'day Australia - we discuss Australia, talk about different landmarks, Australia the country, learn how to count to ten in English, and discuss Australian cuisine.  

My Family - we discuss different family types. Single family, divorced families (two homes), same-sex families, grandparents as family. 

Human Body - we discuss the different parts of the human body. We also discuss how to keep the human body safe in regard to child protection. 


WEEK 4  

Weather - We discuss different types of weather, as well as appropriate clothing for the different changes in the weather. 

Hello England - we discuss England, talk about landmarks in England, learn how to count to twenty in English, and learn English words, and discuss English cuisine.  

Under the sea, in the Ocean - we discuss different animals that live in the ocean. We also move like the animals within the sea.  

Our World - We discuss the 7 continents across the planet, as well as the 7 continents of the world. 

Dinosaur Rock - We discuss the different dinosaurs that walked planet earth during Prehistoric times. We discuss the different dinosaurs' names, 
WEEK 5
​

My Feelings - We talk about different feelings that children experience

Alphabet and rhymes - We talk about the alphabet and use photographs, animals, objects, and things that are relevant to the child's world

Bugs, Insects, and Butterflies - We talk about different bugs, insects, and butterflies, and how they can help our world!

Musical Instruments - We discus different musical instruments, the sounds they make, and the family they belong too.

Nihao China - We discuss different animals, food, people of China
WEEK 6 
Hi USA - We discuss USA food, culture, people, and animals in the USA.

​ Fruit and Vegetable Theme - We discuss the different fruits and vegetables that we can eat. 

​Montessori Math - We talk about numbers and counting with beads.

Opposites theme - We discuss the differences in Opposites. High and low, up, and down, back and front.

Shapes Theme - We discuss different shapes and how they fit into our world

WEEK 7

New Baby - 
We discuss having a new y baby brother and sister.

At the Beach - We discover wonderful things at the beach.

STEM in the classroom - We discuss STEM in an Early Childhood setting

Our Favourite Artist - We discuss different art works for children.

 The Environment - We discuss recycling, and the environment.

WEEK 8

We are chefs - We create recipes in the kitchen

Different countries from around the world - We discuss different countries from around the world.

Playing Sports - We discuss different sports

Healthy Bodies - We discuss how we can ensure that we keep our bodies healthy. Wearing our hats and sunscreen outside, as well as brushing our teeth, wearing a seatbelt, and holding a family members hand. 

Holiday Theme - We discuss different places to go on a holiday, and what we need to do to get ready for that holiday.

​WEEK 9

Rainforest Theme - We discuss the rainforest, animals that live in the rainforest, and how to ensure that we respect the rainforest. 

Fairies and Pirate - We dress up and discuss fairies and pirates

Flowers - We discuss different types of flowers.

Baby Animals - We discuss different baby animals
​
Pets - We discuss different pets that we have in our home, and how to care for these pets.

WEEK  10

​Farm life - We talk about different animals that live on the farm. We dance and move to music and pretend that we are animals. ​​

Transport - We discuss buses, planes, trains, cars, and bicycles. We use stories, songs, dancing, puppets, and figurines to discuss the different types of transport available. Further develops children's cognitive, social/emotional/ physical, and creative and aesthetic development. ​

​Bonjour France - We discuss France, the French flag, talk about the Eiffel tower, France the country, learn how to count to ten in French, and learn French words, and discuss French cuisine. 

Indigenous Culture - We discuss Indigenous culture, learn about Aboriginal stories, and discuss Welcome to Country. 

Planets - We discuss the planets, rocket launch, and spaceships. We discuss planet earth, the sun, and the moon. 

WEEK 11

Keeping Safe - We discuss how to keep safe. In and around the house, in our Early Childhood Setting

Namaste India - We discuss India, culture, people, food, and animals

Picnics Theme - Join us for a Picnic Theme. We take yummy picnic food and have our own picnic friends.

Rainbow Theme - We discuss different rainbows and what makes a rainbow

New to the family - We discuss a new addition to the family
Educator, teacher, and family questions available so you are able to further extend on the children within your classroom's understanding of their world.  Miss Kell has been working in Early Childhood for over 24 years further educating and developing their strengths, interests, and needs!
Miss Kell has her Diploma in Children's Services and, her Masters in Business Administration
And is currently working towards the following degrees:
Masters in Early Childhood, Masters in Play Therapy, Graduate Certificate in Trauma Aware Education,
