I am originally from Toowoomba, Queensland, and have worked in Early Childhood for 26 years throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia; London, United Kingdom; and Denver, Colorado, and New York City– United States of America.
My journey in Early Childhood Education, started as an Educator on the classroom floor, moving into a Lead Educator role, and Centre Director. I have worked in Management and Leadership as an Area Manager, and a General Manager for the last 20 years.
I am a passionate advocate for Children’s Health and Safety, Wellbeing, the benefits of Nature and the Arts supporting our holistic emotional and physical wellbeing; mental health, health literacy, the Social Determinants of Health, and Erik Erikson's 8 Stages of Psychosocial Development Theory.
