  • Introduction to creative therapies (art, music, drama, movement, and play therapy)
  • Practical demonstrations for supporting wellbeing, learning, and development
  • Hands-on activity: participants try a mini creative therapy session
Learning Outcome: Educators will experience and understand how creative approaches can support children’s holistic development.

  • Understanding emotional intelligence (EQ) in yourself and children
  • How self-awareness, self-regulation, and empathy impact interactions

Learning Outcome: Participants will gain self-insight, recognise strengths, and apply emotional intelligence in professional and personal interactions.

Session 14: Mindful Leadership and Reflection
  • Mindfulness techniques to manage stress and stay present
  • Reflection exercises: recognising your values, strengths, and growth areas
  • Journaling: setting personal and professional intentions
Learning Outcome: Educators will leave with tools to manage their wellbeing and lead with presence.

Session 15: Micro-Moments of Wellbeing (Positive Psychology in Action)
  • Exploring the science of small, intentional wellbeing practices (gratitude, savouring, connection)
  • Identifying everyday “micro-moments” in the learning environment
  • Simple strategies educators can embed without adding to workload
  • Pair reflection: Where are these moments already happening, and where can we strengthen them?
Learning Outcome: Participants understand how to embed evidence-based positive psychology practices into everyday interactions, enhancing both children’s and educators’ wellbeing in sustainable ways.
