Overview
This uplifting and practice-focused course introduces educators to the principles of positive psychology and how they can be meaningfully applied within early childhood education. Rather than focusing on deficits or behaviour alone, this course explores how to intentionally nurture children’s strengths, wellbeing, resilience, and emotional flourishing through everyday practice.
Educators will learn how to create environments and relationships that support children to thrive—not just cope—by embedding joy, optimism, gratitude, connection, and confidence into daily interactions, routines, and learning experiences. The course reframes early childhood practice through a strengths-based lens, where every child is seen as capable, valued, and full of potential.
